Here's a story I told recently at "Love, Really." a community storytelling event about the MANY different kinds of love.
It was presented by Bundle and Middlebury Underground with donations accepted in support of WomenSafe, a local nonprofit that supports people across the gender spectrum who experience of have experiences relationship violence. The event was filmed by Middlebury Community Television.
My immense thanks to all involved, with special thanks to Kelly Hickey, who runs Bundle and encouraged me to tell a story, to Lisa Mitchell, who runs Middlebury Underground and coordinated all the storytellers, and finally, to my friend Ollie. They attended the event and provided major moral support, helping me walk off my nervousness and do one more run through/revision on the chilly January sidewalks of town right before the show!
