Okay friends. So I have a copy of this shirt with a different design on it. The material is very soft, not too thick, has some stretch to it. I'm about a size 10 for dresses and a large is quite roomy on me. I'm thinking with them being "unisex" cut, that they're gonna translate best to "men's" sizing if you're looking for a point of reference. If I were going to get one for day-to-day wear, I'd probably go with a medium, though I haven't gotten one to try.
Also, my sincere thanks to author Alex Gino, award-winning author of queer and progressive middle grade fiction and all around cool human, for the inspiration to make this shirt. They mentioned somewhere on the social interwebs that there were all kinds of "I read banned books" shirts and such, but no merch for the intrepid authors. :) And I, as the meme goes, took that personally, and worked up a design that is now on this shirt. I've read George (one of their books), and it's warm and lovely. Can recommend as a way to satisfy your rebellious (and also sweet, insightful, and compassionate) reading needs.
